For the Love of Scrap began with a concept: to sell high quality scrapbooking products that don’t cost a fortune. We want to make scrapbooking more affordable for everyone.
For the Love of Scrap is family owned, it has been through our hard work and persistence (and a bit of luck!!) that we finally made our business a success.
Our first mobile stall was launched in April 2007 at the Treasured Craft Creations Craft Show at Claremont Showgrounds, to RAVE reviews!!
Loads of you told us “what a great idea” it was and that you’d “never seen scrapbooking products that were so cheap” or “that were so fantastic!” We were SO BUSY the whole weekend!
From May 2007, we began setting up our stall in different shopping centres around Perth. From week to week we moved locations from Ocean Keys to Armadale to Midland, and many others in between. It was exciting and exhausting all at the same time!
And in March 2008 we began setting up 2 stalls a week, adding as far south as Rockingham and Mandurah to our rotation. Following that, in June 2008 we began an extended stay at Westfield Carousel.
We then began the next stage of our business:
In August 2008 we decided to take the leap and begin the long (and exhilarating) process of opening our first shop! And after months of planning, drawings, decisions, meetings and more drawings, (and a few minor glitches) we opened our doors on Thursday 11th December 2008!!
The first year has flown by and we’ve been busy making For The Love Of Scrap a better store by listening to you, our customers. We’ve added more products to our range including lots more paper and cardstock, we’ve introduced our VIP Reward Card and we’ve also added Gift Vouchers. But the most excitingly we’ve finally opened our Online Store!
